Houston is the fourth largest city in the US, with nearly 600 square miles of diversified land, and it has a little bit of everything for someone.
Houston has plenty of history, lakes and waterways, the ocean, community spirit, diversity, sports, indoor and outdoor activities, and amazing food sure enough to please the pickiest foodie.
Houston is a huge oil and gas market and even has an “energy corridor”. Energy companies are currently building new state of the art facilities in the Northwest and North areas of Houston. With all the oil and gas jobs comes growth and the creation of wonderful areas/communities to live in. The Northwest area of Houston, which includes Cypress, Tomball, Spring, Magnolia, and The Woodlands, is growing leaps and bounds with the addition of a new Grand Parkway to connect Northern Houston together and allow easier access for commuters. New restaurants, shops, movie theaters, parks are popping up and making the suburbs feel a little more urban.
